ZIPS Car Wash Announces Dallas-Fort Worth Expansion

Plano, TX – (October 21, 2022)— ZIPS Car Wash announced today its continued expansion in Dallas-Fort Worth with the acquisition of three sites from Dream Wash Auto Spa. This takeover expands ZIPS into Frisco, Lewisville and adds another convenient location in Dallas. ZIPS owns and operates a total of 37 locations across the state of Texas, including the addition of locations in Houston and Austin in 2022, making Texas the most densely populated state for the express car wash chain.

“Expanding with the acquisition of these car wash locations allows us to serve new customers and bring added convenience to our existing Unlimited Wash Club members.  These sites are positioned in high traffic areas where customers are accustomed to getting their vehicle clean.,” said David Miller, SVP of Business Development, ZIPS Car Wash. “It’s our goal to create a strong presence in this market to serve our customers no matter where they may be in the metro area.  We are reaching that goal as we continue to expand with 21 locations in DFW,” he added.

In recent months, ZIPS has acquired locations in and around Dallas-Fort Worth and has expanded as far out as Granbury, Burleson, and Rockwall through acquisition growth. As of 2021, ZIPS relocated its headquarters from Little Rock to Plano to be more centrally located to its nearly 275 locations across 24 states.
